Two separate cases were filed Saturday with Sreepur police station in connection with the murder of Abdus Salam, a worker of Arif Spinning Mill.
NR Group Director Shahjada filed a case against 10 individuals whose names were mentioned, along with 400-500 unidentified people. Gulshan Spinning Mill Administrative Officer Masudur Rahman Chowdhury filed a case against 300-400 people, four of whom were named.
Sreepur Police Station Officer-in-charge Amir Hossain said two security officers of Gulshan Spinning Mill, Ziyaul Huq, 40, and Abul Khayer, 50, were arrested and sent to jail for their alleged involvement in the murder.
Earlier on Friday, Abdus Salam and 40 others were injured in a clash between the workers of Gulshan Spinning Mill and Arif Group over the demarcation of a piece of land.
