Anupam Kher to act in a Bangladeshi film

The seasoned actor and five times “Film Fare” award winner, Anupam Kher has been finalised to act in a Bangladeshi film. Directed by Monsur Ali, the film “Shongraam” is based upon the freedom fighters of Bangladesh. In the film, Anupam Kher will be playing the role of the freedom fighter Karim, where, he will be speaking in English. The film starts with the flashback of freedom fighter Karim’s life. Actor Anupam Kher expressed “I know about Bangladeshi Liberation War and I feel fortunate to act on such a film that will portray the glorious history of a nation’s biggest achievement.”   Director Monsur Ali stated “The shooting of film ‘Shongraam’ would start from August 8 with Anupom Kher in London. He will be attending a press conference on August 9. After finishing the dubbing of the film, the actor will return to Mumbai on August 11.   The director further stated: “Film ‘Shongraam’ is featured with Aman who played the youthful period of Karim and his co-actor ramp model Rahi as Asha. I am the producer and writer of the film. The film will be released on December 16 in Bangladesh and then globally.”
