Regency celebrates ‘Ramadan Festival

Although Ramadan is essentially a month of piety and abstinence, there is always a rather opposite side to it. With the emergence of the numerous eateries around town, the need to explore each iftar festival is felt by many. As a result, most Dhakaites try their luck at different eateries, sometimes in vain, sometimes to their delight. This Ramadan, Regency has taken matters into their own hands and has set out an illustrious iftar fest for every type of food lover.   Whether you like set menus or elaborate joint meals, Regency has something for everyone. Along with the traditional iftar items such as chola, piaju, beguni, aloo dum, and shahi haleem, they will also be highlighting the delicacies of the Middle East. Items such as shawarmas, sambuseks, hummus, mandi or kabsa are just a few from their extensive Middle Eastern menu. Currently, Grandiose has two sets of pre-plated platters of delicious delicacies that are ideal for both takeaways and for eating in. For larger groups of 10-12 people, they have the scrumptious Sahan-al-iftar, an enormous meal consisting of a whole roast Arabian style lamb on kabsa or mandi rice, two whole grilled chickens, numerous Arabian and Continental tidbits as well as dessert.   The most popular iftar menu is their buffet menu. In recent times, the number of customers have soared to such heights that they now have to make extra arrangements for an extended buffet line up.
