Motorcyclist stabbed to death

Miscreants, in guise of passengers, hijacked a motorcycle after stabbing its owner to death in the Jorarhonj area of Chittagong area on Saturday night.    The deceased, Md Mobarak, 26, hailing from Fatikchhari upazila, was the motorcycle owner and used to carry passengers on his bike from Bhujpur area of upazila to the Jorargonj area of Mirsarai upazila, said police.    Iftekhar Hasan, officer-in-charge of Jorargonj Police Station told the Dhaka Tribune that Mobarak had been carrying two or three passengers from Heyako area of Bhujpur to Jorargonj on Saturday at around 9:30pm.    When they had reached Nayatila Majhar area under Jorargonj police station the miscreants stabbed Mobarak mercilessly and fled the scene with the motorcycle leaving him dead near a hill, he said.    Later, Jorargonj police recovered the body at around 10:00pm and sent it to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy added the OC.
