Housewife killed in Gazipur road accident

A housewife was killed and her husband injured in a road crash in Gulaghat area, Sreepur upazila, Gazipur Saturday.    The deceased was identified as Jakia Sultana, 23, wife of Ansarul Haque, resident of Kauraid area of the upazila. Witnesses said the accident took place on the Kauraid-Sreepur road at about 6:45am.    The motorcycle, Jakiya and Ansarul were riding, skidded off the road when a bricks-laden lorry hit the motorcycle from behind, leaving Jakiya spot dead and her husband injured. Ansarul was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition, reports UNB.
