BSF kills teen in Benapole border

Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) allegedly beat a teenage boy to death along Sadipur border, Jessore district early Saturday, reports UNB.

The identity of the deceased, aged around 19, could not be known yet.

Lt Col Matiur Rahman, commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion-26, said the BSF members beat the teen to death in the early hours and dumped the body under a bridge inside the Indian territory.

It could not be ascertained whether the deceased is a Bangladeshi or Indian, he said, adding that both BGB and BSF were trying to find his identity.
