A Bangladesh Army chopper force-landed at Dhamrai, in the capital’s outskirts, on Wednesday morning.
One of the two crew members was injured in the crash while the other escaped unhurt, Assistant Director of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Nur Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.
UNB reports that the helicopter made emergency landing at Chutail Dakkhin Para village in the upazila in the morning.
Quoting Roail union parishad Chairman Abdul Alim, the news agency said a training helicopter of Bangladesh Army hovered twice over the area and had to make an emergency landing on Jubak Housing Balur Maath at the village around 10:30am.
Locals rushed to the spot and recovered the crew members. An army team reached the spot rushed the injured to a hospital.
