Morsheda Begum, wife of the slain BNP leader Chan Mia has filed a case with Khagrachhari Sadar police station on Saturday accusing three unidentified ethnic men for killing her husband.
In the First Information Report Morsheda mentioned some three unknown ethnic men requested Chan Mia to assist them to go Khagrachhari in a urgent work.
Believing them Chan Mia took them on his motorcycle from Dighinala bus stand area at around 9pm on Thursday night.
However, the three culprits killed Chan Mia at Panchmail area under Sadar upazila in the district, she said adding that they killed him for the motorcycle, some cash money and the cell phone.
Police had recovered the body of the BNP leader from Panchmail area under Sadar upazila in Khagrachhari at early Friday.
