A man died this morning as he got a cardiac arrest after being chased by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel while he along with some other supporters of Charmonai Pir brought out a procession violating the election code of conduct.
Alam Sardar, 40, he was rushed to hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
He was a worker of Crescent Jute Mill of Khulna and a supporter of Shamsul Alam who is running for commissioner post in the election.
Rab has arrested 10 men from the procession in the morning.
