The drama version of ace writer late Humayun Ahmed’s novel “Debi” by Bahubachan Theatre will be staged Saturday 7pm at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The play is dramatised by Mohammad Iqbal Hossain and directed by Arham Alo. It features the psychological thriller of Humayun Ahmed’s “Debi” where the iconic character of psychiatrist Misir Ali, helps a young and beautiful housewife Ranu to overcome her misleading notion of the existence of a goddess within herself.
Through her super power, she has the extraordinary ability of predicting the future, hearing sounds and sensing smell from non-existing objects.

The play is a combination of mystery and thriller that is guaranteed to keep the audience in their seat.
