Army stretch their sports wing

Bangladesh Army has decided to include 12 more disciplines under their sports wing and the decision came after a view-exchange meeting between Army and all the federations' representatives yesterday. Army also decided to form women's team in 17 disciplines for the first time.
Army has been participating in 14 disciplines in the men's national events and after the 8th Bangladesh Games in last April they began to plan on adding more disciplines.
The 12 new disciplines are - cycling, wushu, fencing, wrestling, body building, rugby, gymnastic, badminton, table tennis, tennis, golf and squash.
However, the 17 disciplines introduced in the women’s wing do not include football. Athletics, swimming, judo, karate, weightlifting, archery, shooting, taekwondo, badminton, cycling, wushu, fencing, wrestling, gymnastic, table tennis, golf and tennis are the new disciplines.
The male team of Bangladesh Army regularly participate in all available national level competitions and their performance in the discipline has always been satisfactory.
