A three – day fashion photography exhibition titled “Builders View–Trio–Fashion Forever” is on at Drik Gallery. The show, organised by lifestyle magazine “Look,” has begun on May 20 and will remain open until 8pm on Wednesday.
Around 42 photographs have been showcased in the exhibition. Renowned models and celebrities of the country participated in the photo sessions. The exhibition showcases some of the best creations from three of the most prominent names in the style industry: Afroza Parveen as beauty expert, Rafiqul Islam Raf as photographer, and Shahrukh Amin as fashion expert.
The photos have been framed and displayed beautifully, enabled visitors to get introduced to the passion of the “Trio.”
Shahrukh Amin is a fashion specialist and his ensembles ooze class and elegance, sense and sensibility.
Time, Beauty, and glamour has been captured in frames and displayed on the exhibition which seems like a fashion street hanging on the wall. From vintage to modern, with combination of fusion in style, makeover and photography is clearly arranged in an attractive manner. Colour, is another important part of these photographs. Red, green and some other mild and epoch colours have shown their glamour matched with models in a perfect symmetry.
Each of Rafiq’s snap tells the tale of his journey through fashion, holding the hand of photography. He has proved his spirit in experimenting with advertising and fashion photography. On a talk with Dhaka Tribune, the enthusiastic talent shares: “We, the Bangladeshis have more exclusive ideas to share with the fashion world. It’s true that our fashion industry is blooming.
But, we have a long way to go. In my photographs, I have my own signature style and it is my opinion that everyone should create their own style. I strongly believe new creativity and accomplishments will keep adding new proportions and soon our fashion industry will be able to conquer the world with the beauty of imaginations, creativity, and ruthless efforts.”
