Bigg Boss star Mandana files for divorce

If fans of Bigg Boss can remember the appearance of Mandana Karimi, you’ll know she always looked frustrated. Days have passed, and she is now facing a real life challenge at her own place of a more serious nature. Bigg Boss star Mandana Karimi last made news while announcing her grand marriage with her boyfriend, Gaurav Gupta on January 25 2015. Now, she has filed a divorce petition against him. She gave hints about her marriage and happy relationship at the Bigg Boss house once, but things did not go well after that. The actress has also filed a domestic violence case against her husband, and her in-laws claimed that Gaurav barred her from entering their house seven weeks ago. The actress filed the petition on Monday, according to reports. The actress has also filed a complaint against her mother-in-law for harassment and has made demands of monetary relief in the petition. She has talked about three major reasons for which she is asking for separation. The Iranian model turned actress claims that her in-laws and Gaurav forced her to convert her religion ahead of the wedding, so that they could have a Hindu one. Not only that, the actress also mentioned that she was forced to quit her acting career since it was “demeaning as per the family status in society”. Mandana also confirmed that she was barred from entering her matrimonial house seven weeks ago and all her attempts to reconcile with them has failed. The case is being processed at the moment.
