Miscreants have hurled two crude bombs targeting Chittagong Press Club in Chittagong city's Jamal Khan area.
None was injured in the incident, said sources.
Witnesses told the Dhaka Tribune that miscreants hurled two crude bombs aiming at Chittagong Press Club in Jamal Khan area at around 9pm Sunday.
Those crude bombs were set off at the outside of the press club creating huge panic among the pedestrians and staffs of the club.
Chittagong Press Club's Joint Secretary Farid Uddin told the Dhaka Tribune that a group of miscreants hurled two crude bombs targeting at the press club entrance, but, those bombs blasted outside of the club.
However, none was wounded in this connection, he added.
"We have learned about the incident and a petrol team was sent to the spot", said Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jasim Uddin of Kotwali police station.
