Bangladesh Naval chief M Nizamuddin Ahmed has been promoted to the rank of Admiral.
According to a press release issued by ISPR on Sunday, Bangladesh Army acting chief Lt Gen Anwar Hossain and Bangladesh Air Force's Chief Marshal Abu Esrar adorned the rank badge to Nizamuddin in presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister Office.
Earlier on March 24, Defense Ministry in a circular said the Naval chief has been promoted to Admiral rank as per order of honorable president of Bangladesh.
