Two buses of TR Travels have been torched in the capital’s Gabtoli area.T
he incident took place around 6:15pm on Sunday, said Darus Salm OC Selimuzzaman.
The buses were parked in an open field behind Khaleque Enterprise counter of the bus terminal, he said.
On information, two fire service units - one from Mohammadpur and another from Mirppur – rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 7pm.
No arrest was made in this regard, the police official said, adding no case was filed yet.
Selimuzzaman said reasons behind the fire could be known yet.
“We are investigating into the incident.”
