Tollywood actress Srabonti Chattergee recently visited Dhaka for the shoot of her Bangladeshi film Shikari. She will be appearing alongside Shakib Khan in the film, which is being co-produced by Bangladesh’s Jaaz Multimedia and India’s SK Movies. The film was officially announced in Dhaka with Srabonti’s presence along with other artists who worked in the film.
When Srabonti was asked about Bangladeshi films and how she feels about working in one, she shared with the audience that her grandfather was originally from the district of Barisal. Hence, she is a Bangladeshi by heart.
Shikari’s screenplay and dialogues were written by Abdullah Zohir from Bangladesh and Pele Chatterji from India.
Apart from the lead duo Shakib Khan and Srabonti, the rest of the cast include Omit Hassan, Shubroto, Shiba Sanu from Bangladesh and Rahul Deb, Shobbosachi and Lipi Promukh from Kolkata.
