The father of the housemaid who was found dead in capital's Mirpur has filed a murder case with Kafrul police station.
Housemaid Jonia's father Osman Gani filed the case against three people on Monday afternoon.
He accused Jonia's employer Ahsan Habib, his wife Naznin Akhter and their son Rummon Bin Ahsan for the death of his daughter. Ahsan is the chairman and director of the National Freedom Fighters’ Council.
In the case, Osman accused Rummon of raping and murdering his daughter.

He also claimed that the locals took away Jonia's body to Shawrapara graveyard with the help of the police without their permission. The body has been kept in the graveyard.
Kafrul OC Shikdar Mohammad Shamim Hossain said: “We have detained for suspects in connection to the incident last night. We are investigating into the matter, no one will be spared.”
Jonia, 15, was found dead beside NAM Garden apartment in Kafrul on Sunday night.
In the inquest report, police mentioned that there was blood in Jonia’s right hand and nose, and black spots on the knees and under the breasts.
On the same night of the incident, police filed an unnatural death case.
