Bangladesh supporters have shown overwhelming support to the Tigers despite their defeat against India in the T20 Asia Cup final.
Fans posted wishes for Bangladesh's victory on Facebook during the match at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on Sunday. However, India won the match against Bangladesh in the 15-over grand finale.
As soon as the match was over, Tigers' fans extended their solidarity and sympathy to the Bangladesh Team on Facebook.
On his official Facebook page, Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus congratulated Bangladesh Team and thanked all of its members to galvanise the whole country with the spirit of sports.
One Rubaiyat Saki wrote: "Best of luck again. we want another tears of joy."
"Congratulations Tigers. You people gave us an occasion to dream and fought with all of your efforts to make the dream a reality. Thank you so much," singer Lopa Hossain wrote.
Dhaka University teacher Alam Bhuiyan wrote: "Well done boys! We will win the next one."
Jahangirnagar University teacher Rakib Ahmed posted: "No worry boys. It was just not our day. Love you all, Tigers.
Another fan of Tigers, Jumman Sadiq Javlin wrote: "You are still the winner in our eyes, inside our heart!"
"We may not be champions, but we are the second best team in Asia. Best wishes for Tigers for the T20 World Cup," posted Jesmin Papri.
