Two police officials were killed when a truck ran them over while they were trying to stop the truck for checking its goods in Kansat Pukuria area, Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Sub-Inspector Sadekul Islam and police sergeant Ataul Islam. Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj police station MM Moinul Islam said the accident had taken place around 5:30am while they were chasing a truck to check its goods which it was carrying.
