Dr Kamal Hossain has urged the young generation to come forward and discharge their duties properly, saying the goal of the Liberation War is yet to be fulfilled.
Addressing a programme in Chittagong yesterday, he said the war had freed Bangladesh from economic exploitation by Pakistan. “People fought the occupation forces hoping to establish a society free from discrimination and based on justice. But it still remains elusive,” the Gono Forum president said. “I believe the young generation will materialise it one day.”
