Division of Students’ Affairs (DoSA) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organised the Winter Cake Festival (Pitha Uthsab) at IUB campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka on January 26. Various types of local cakes such as chitoy pitha, nakshi pitha, shaj pakon, semai pitha, patishapta, puli pitha, vapa pitha etc were on display.
Vice chancellor Professor M Omar Rahman inaugurated the festival as the chief guest. The students along with the members of the faculty and management of IUB attended the festival.
