Robi Axiata Limited has achieved TK5,000 crore revenue milestone for the first time in 2015, according to the company’s latest report published on its parent company’s, Axiata Group, website.
In the previous year, it revenue was little more than Tk4942 crore.
The second largest operator in Bangladesh in terms of revenue recorded 6.01% growth year-on-year in gross revenue to Tk5,239.50 crore last year.
The leading mobile phone operator, Grameenphone, achieved this revenue landmark earlier.
In 2015, Grameenphone earned Tk10,480 crore in revenue.
However, Robi’s net profit declined by 8.96% to Tk400.30 core last year from Tk439.70 crore in 2014.
The operator’s profit declined to 7.64% from 8.89%, according to its financial report.
