Bangladesh has been recognized as responsible state in abroad regarding curbing militancy and terrorism, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has said.
Replying to a query, the foreign minister told the House on Tuesday that the government has taken zero tolerance on restraining all sorts of terrorism and militancy.
Moreover, the government is firmly determined that none will be allowed to use Bangladesh territory for operating any militancy and terrorist activities.
The minister also said the government has taken various steps with the various countries including the Muslim countries on bilateral levels to curb terrorism and militant activities.
Replying to another query, the foreign minister said some international organisations have issued partial and biased statements after being misled by the anti-liberation forces propaganda on International Crimes Tribunal which is not acceptable at all.
Ali said the government has been working to mobilize positive support on trial of crimes against humanity involving foreign missions, international right bodies, civil society members and international media.
