Lamppost, a popular band among those who give ear to the country’s rock trend, will perform live on SATV for the show Clear SATV Live Studio at 11pm.
Influenced by local rock icons including Khalid of Chime and Guru Azam Khan, and international bands and artists including Modern Talkings, Phil Collins, George Michael and Lionel Richie, the band tends to mainly work with the melody and folk-fusion genres of music. Initially starting out with some experimental rock tracks, now the band has created some extraordinary numbers loved by their fans. In the current recession that plagues the country’s audio market, the band prefers to perform live.
The live musical programme is directed by Ashrafuzzaman.
