When West goes South

Kanye West has been stirring all throughout his career. Since the beginning of his career, the rapper has had a hard time getting along with people. It seems like Kanye will find a way to pick up a fight with anyone and everyone for rather petty reasons. This is a recap of all those times Kanye got caught in feuds.

“George W Bush hates black people”

Kanye West accused George Bush of disliking black people on live television. With noting else but a petty reason to back up his accusation, he pointed his finger at the then, president of the United States and got away with it. He said, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”

“Taylor Swift does not deserve her VMA award”

In 2009’s VMA awards, Kanye grabbed a mike, jumped up on stage during Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech, cut her off, and said, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all-time! One of the best videos of all-time!”

In spite of the fact that it takes a lot of courage for a man to speak so openly about how he feels, he could have resorted to other means which would not have ruined Taylor’s moment. However, it’s Kanye, and his way of doing things isn’t the normal way of doing things, it seems.

South Park getting in the way of Kanye’s ego control

South Park, as we all know, has been successfully dissing movie stars, musicians and anything and everything hitting the limelight. Kanye took jabs made at him a little too personally. His thin skin and big mouth countered the animation, but this time, on Twitter.

“‘South Park’ murdered me last night, and it’s pretty funny. It hurts my feelings, but what can you expect from ‘South Park?’… I actually have been working on my ego. … Having the crazy ego is played out at this point in my life and career. I used to utilise it to build up my esteem when nobody believed in me. Now that people do believe and support my music, the best response is ‘Thank you’ instead of ‘I told you so!’… I’m not actually a huge douche. I’m sure the writers of South Park are really nice people in real life. Thanks for taking the time to draw my crew. That was pretty funny also.”

Jimmy Kimmel went out of line

Kanye went on an interview with Zane Lowe in 2013 where he claimed to be the number one rock star on the planet. It created quiet a stir in both social and print media. Jimmy Kimmel did not let it slide either. He recreated the whole interview scene with children playing the roles of Kanye and Zane. Kanye didn’t take it very well and responded with “Jimmy Kimmel is out of line to try and spoof in any way the first piece of honest media in years.” He added, “You can’t put yourself in my shoes. Your face looks crazy...is that funny? Or if I had a kid say it, would it be funny?”

Rolling Stone should put Kanye on the cover

Kanye West’s most recent fight was with the Rolling Stone magazine. He recently posted a picture on twitter with him covered with mustard on the cover photo of the magazine. Rolling Stone, however, tweeted that it’s been photoshopped and is fake. “While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone,” the company tweeted.
