Bangladesh Team for the World Twenty20 2016 India has been announced at a press conference at the SBNCS Media Center on Wednesday.
The 15-man squad includes Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Tamim Iqbal Khan, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman Rumman, Mohammad Nasir Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Arafat Sunny, Abu Hider Rony, Kazi Nurul Hasan.
Imrul Kayes, Kamrul Islam Rabby, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury and Mohammad Muktar Ali are the four stand-by players in the team.
Cheif Selector of the National Selection Panel Faruque Ahmed announced the squad. Two other members of the committee--Minhazul Abedin and Habibul Bashar—were also present.
