The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations 2016 under ten education boards will begin on February 1.
A total of 13,04,274 students will appear in the exams. Of them, 6, 42, 507students are male and 6,61,767 female, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has said, reports BSS.
He was addressing a press briefing in the conference room of the Education Ministry on Saturday.
Education Secretary Md Sohrab Hossain, senior officials of the education ministry and chairmen of the different education boards, among others, were present on the occasion.
