A school girl has committed suicide after her boyfriend died in a road accident at Dashmari in Rajshahi.
Motihar police station Officer-in-Charge Ashok Chowhan confirmed Dhaka Tribune about the incident.
According to locals, Ferdous Keya and Molayem Hossain Turjyo were in love. Both were the students of class X at Dashmari High School.
Turjyo died when a brick-loaded trolly rammed into his motorcycle around 12:45pm Friday.
Keya's sister Monisha said: "Keya broke into tears hearing the news of Turjyo's demise. As soon as she saw the ambulance carrying Turjyo's body, Keya hanged herself from the ceiling fan of her room."
She was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where she died around 3pm.
