Another victim, who was injured in the boiler blast in Gazipur, has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Kamal Hossain died at the hospital’s burn unit around 7:15am yesterday, taking the death toll to seven in the incident.
Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp, confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
The boiler in the factory named Smart Metal and Chemical, located in Pubail of Gazipur, exploded with a big bang around 4pm on Saturday. Around 30 people were working in the factory which caught fire right after the explosion.
