Ferry service on the Kawrakandi-Shimulia route has resumed after five hours of disruption caused by dense fog.
Kawrakandi ferry ghat duty officer Ruhul Amin said they kept suspended ferry service on the Kawrakandi-Shimulia route from 5am for poor visibility because of dense fog.
He said normalcy returned there around 10am Monday.
Five ferries remained stranded in the middle of the river for five hours.
