Dhaka police have not found any involvement of the 26 Bangladeshi workers, who were deported from Singapore allegedly for supporting jihadist groups including al-Qaeda and Dae'sh, with any terrorist outfit, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam has said.
The police official, however, said 14 of them were the followers of local banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team.
They are Zafar Iqbal, Golam Zilani, Saiful Islam, Nurul Amin, Aminur Rahman, Abdul Alim, Shah Alam, Akram Hossain, Alam, Mahbub, Abdul Ali, Parvez Dollar, Jasim Uddin and Md Ashraful.

Monirul Islam was briefing reporters at a press conference on Thursday afternoon in the capital.
In primary interrogation, they confessed that they are the followers of Ansarullah chief Jasim Uddin Rahmani, controversial cleric Dr Zakir Naik and convicted war criminal Delawar Hossain Sayedee, also a top Jamaat-e-Islami leader.
A case was filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act 2009 against the 14 people with Uttara east police station on December 21 last year, said Monirul.
Later, the case was transferred to the Detective Branch (DB) of police, he added.
The 12 other returnees were released as no terror link was found against them, Monirul said, adding that the law enforcement agencies would monitor their activities.
