A police constable has been killed after a truck rammed into his motorcycle in Bijoynagar area under Chowgacha upazila in Jessore.
The deceased is Firoz Chowdhury, 24, son of Abul Kalam Chowdhury. He was recruited at Khulna Police Lines.
Kotwali police station Sub-Inspector Biplob Hossain said constable Firoz died on the spot when a truck knocked down his motorcycle around 12 noon Tuesday.
The body is being taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital.
