The government has formed a nine-member cabinet committee to recommend how to implement a new pay scale for the country’s judiciary in accordance with the Bangladesh Judicial Service Report 2015.
Cabinet Division yesterday issued a circular signed by its Additional Secretary Md Mustafizar Rahman, disclosing that a nine-member cabinet committee headed by Finance Minister AMA Muhith has been formed to provide recommendations on implementation of salary, allowance and other facilities to the judicial authorities.
According to the circular, the other committee members are Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, Law Minister Anisul Huq, Food Minister Qamrul Islam, Prime Minister’s Political Adviser HT Imam, State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque Chunnu and State minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique.
In September last year, Bangladesh Judicial Service Pay Commission submitted its report to the Finance Division with different recommendations on the pay scale.
