Two legends of the Bangladeshi music industry, Syed Abdul Hadi and Sabina Yasmin, have recorded a duet recently after a hiatus of four years.
Under the direction of renowned musician Shafiq Tuhin, the two singers have recorded the number titled Drishtihin on Saturday. The song is for an upcoming film Onek Dam e Kena, directed by Zakir Hossain Raju and produced by Judge Multimedia Ltd.
On a recent Facebook post, Shafiq expressed his delight over working with the top two vocals of the country. “I am extremely fortunate to have this opportunity. Working with these two fabulous singers, who have inspired many other musicians like me, is a dream come true,” his post read.
Hadi and Sabina have rendered a number of popular duets during the 70s. Chole Jai Jodi Keu, Ekbar Jodi Keu Bhalobashto, Osru Diye Lekha e Gaan, Ami Achhi Thakbo, Ei Mon Tomake Dilam and Keu Konodin Amare To are few of the ageless tracks.
