A six-storey building has tilted after the 6.7 magnitude earthquake at Shonir Akhra in Dhaka.
Fire Service Headquarters Duty Officer Ataur Rahman told the Dhaka Tribune that the building tilted during the earthquake on Monday morning.
He said: “The building has residents up to the third floor while the other three floors are under-construction. The residents have been evacuated from the building.”
Three people have been killed and 32 others injured during the earthquake that jolted the country.
According to the USGS, the epicentre of the 6.7 magnitude earthquake was monitored at 351km east-northeast of Dhaka and 33km northwest of Imphal, the capital of India's Manipur state.
Five people were killed and 40 others injured in the earthquake in India. The tremor was also felt in Nepal.
