Mobile phone top-up and mobile banking vendors have threatened to call strike for an indefinite period to press home their seven-point demand, including increasing commission.
Bangladesh Mobile Phone Recharge and Banking Association in a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity yesterday came up this disclosure.
Md Shafiqur Rahman, president of the association said their commission on refilling Tk1,000 should be fixed at Tk100, up from the existing Tk27.
He also demanded that the agents’ commission on mobile banking be increased to Tk6 from the current amount of Tk4.20 for every Tk1,000 transaction.
