Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has asked all the telecommunication service related bodies not to do any business with four International Gateways (IGWs) operators as the regulatory body had already cancelled their licences.
Legal and Licencing Department of the BTRC yesterday served a notice in this regard.
According to the notice, it will be illegal and punishable offence, as per telecommunication act 2001, if any enterprise tied up with any business in those IGWs.
The regulatory body scrapped the licences of four IGWs operators in the middle of the year as they violated guidelines and licences condition.
The four licence canalled companies are-K Telecommunications Limited, Ratul Telecom Limited Telex Limited and Vision Tel Limited.
