Central Hospital fined for irregularities

Central Hospital in Dhaka has been fined Tk4 lakh on six irregularities on Saturday.

A mobile court led by executive magistrate Md Helal Uddin conducted the drive along with RAB 2 personnel at the private hospital at Green Road in the noon, a RAB 2 press release reads.  

According to RAB-2 officials, the hospital has been fined for non-trained x-ray operator and medical technologist, no drug license to keep the foreign medicine in the hospital pharmacy and expired pathology samples, unlabeled drugs stored in operation theater and keeping baked foods without BSTI license.
