Maldives defeated Bangladesh 3-1 in the third match of Group B at the Trivandrum International stadium in Kerala, India.
Maldives' Ali Ashfaq scored the first goal at 43rd minutes of the match. Hemonta Vinsent Biswas's goal equalised the match at 86th minutes.
Then Maldives bagged two more goal from Naiz Hassan and Ahmed Nashid.
Bangladesh messed up their set-piece routine at the other end and Maldives were alert to take advantage of the three on two situation.
