The United States Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on Thursday in observance of Christmas, an American holiday.
These closures include the Consular Section and the American Center's Archer K Blood Library and Education USA Student Advising Center, a US embassy press release said on Tuesday.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available through the duty officer (phone 55662000).
