BSF hands over 19 Bangladeshi nationals to BGB

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have handed over 19 Bangladeshi nationals to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Benapole Check post early Friday.

Camp commander of BGB’s Benapole international check post (ICP) Nayek Subedar Nazrul Islam said members of BSF arrested them in Joyentopur border area on Thursday night for trespassing the Indian territory, UNB reports.

BSF handed them over to BGB around 4:30 am on Friday.

The returnees include 3 children, 4 women and 12 men, hailed from different areas of Narail and Bagerhat districts.

Later, BGB handed them over to Benapole Police Station.
