8 killed in Sirajganj road accident
At least eight people have been killed and nine others injured when an oil tanker rammed into a human hauler in the district's Shahjadpur upazila.
Of the deceased, seven are--Makbel, Banya, Rajufa, Anjana, Jalal, Renu and Sobhan.

A Dhaka court has placed a person on a two-day remand over the death of Ismail Hossain Nirob, who died after falling in a manhole in the capital’s Shyampur on December 8.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashed Talukder passed the order on Tuesday afternoon after the IO of the case produced Shahriar Ahmed alias Sukkur Mia, a caretaker of all manholes and sewerage lines in Shyampur union parishad, before his court with a seven-day remand plea.
