A fire has broken out at a button factory on Hemayetpur-Shingair road in Savar.
Witnesses said some locals spotted smoke coming out of the factory named Deco Accessories Limited around 7:30am Wednesday and informed local fire fighting unit.
However, no casualty was reported in the blaze.
Savar Fire Service Warehouse Inspector Sheikh Shahajur Rahman said: “On information, nine units went to the stop to douse the blaze after a frantic effort of two and a half hours.”
