Publisher Ahmedur Rashid Tutul and poet-blogger Tareq Rahim, who were injured in an attack carried out by suspected militants on October 31, left the country a couple of days back.
They felt that their lives had been under threat, colleagues of the duo confirmed to the Dhaka Tribune.

The extremists killed another publisher, Faisal Arefin Dipan, in a separate attack the same day. Tutul and Tareq came under attack at Shuddhashar publication office in Lalmatia.
Another blogger Ranadipam Basu, who was injured during the Lalmatia attack, is also planning to go abroad.
Police are yet to arrest anyone in the two cases filed over the attacks with Mohammadpur and Sahabagh police stations.
