The Dhaka Central Jail authorities have asked the family members to meet death-row convicts Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid.
SQ Chy’s lawyer Hujjatul Islam told Dhaka Tribune 18 members entered into jail to meet Salauddin.
11 members of Mujahid arrived at 10:25pm at Dhaka Central Jail gate to him. They entered the jail around 10:50pm.
The family sought permission for a list of 35 family members to meet SQ Chy.
A total of 15 members of Salauddin's family reached Dhaka Central Jail gate at 8:58pm on Saturday to meet him. Later more 15 members joined.
Mujahid's son Ali Ahmed Mabrur told the Dhaka Tribune that their family members were on the way to the jail.
Salauddin's lawyer also earlier confirmed that the family members were going to the jail.
Earlier, the convicts sought presidential clemency, their last lifeline, admitting their crimes.
Meanwhile, DC (DB) Sheikh Nazmul Alam has arrived at the jail as a representative of DMP.
