Nazrul's family for fresh charge sheet

Family members of slain panel mayor Nazrul Islam have demanded submission of fresh charge sheet after interrogating Nur Hossain in the sensational seven-murder case.

Nazrul's widow Selina Islam and father-in-law Shahidul Islam came up with the demand while talking to reporters on Narayanganj court premises on Friday morning.

Shahidul Islam said: "We want Nur Hossain to be interrogated on remand. Police had submitted the charge sheet without interrogating Nur.

"We filed no confidence petition in the court. We will move in the High Court as we did not get justice in the lower court."
