The volunteers of Mojar School, who were arrested on human traffic allegation earlier, has met DMP commissioner in a courtesy call on Tuesday, a few days after they were released on bail.
A Facebook post of Dhaka Metropolitan Police reads: " Mojar school volunteers met DMP commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia with flower bouquet. The DMP commissioner also handed over a souvenir to them."
The meeting took place at the police headquarters in the capital.
During the meeting, the DMP commissioner assured them of cooperation in their benevolent works and social welfare activities.
On September 12, Rampura police detained four Mojar School volunteers– Arifur Rahman, Jakia Sultana, Hasibul Hasan Sobuj and Firoz Alam Khan Shuva after a raid at a Banasree apartment rented by Odommo and found 10 children, aged between nine and 14.

The police suspected that the children were kept for human trafficking purposes.
A case was filed by one Monir Hossain with Rampura police station in this connection.
On October 19, a Dhaka court granted bail to the volunteers as no evidence on suspicion of human trafficking had been found during investigation.
They are all volunteers of Mojar School, a school for homeless children run by Odommo foundation.
Their arrest on human trafficking allegations triggered intense public outrage on social media.
