Newly appointed BTRC Chairman Dr Shahjahan Mahmood has assured the mobile phone subscribers of quality services across the country.
“During the first three months, my first job will be to resolve all the call termination related problems,” he told a views exchange meeting with the members of Telecommunication Reporters’ Network, Bangladesh (TRNB) at his BTRC office in Dhaka yesterday.
Dr Mahmmood took the charge of BTRC on October 26. He stressed on formulating a “Master Plan” to curb illegal uses of VoIP and hinted that he would go for political intervention to collect the outstanding dues to different operators.
TRNB Acting President Rashed Mehedi and General Secretary Muhammad Zahidul Islam also spoke.
