The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned chairmen of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) and the United Group for questioning regarding a case of illegal handover of a state-owned land.
The anti-graft body summoned Rajuk Chairman Engineer GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan and United Group Chairman Hasan Mahmud Raja, along with three others, through a notice sent by ACC Deputy Director SM Rafiqul Islam yesterday.
The other three summoned are Rajuk member (estate) Abdul Hai, United Group Vice-Chairman Abul Kalam Azad and Director (Estate) Nazmus Sadat Selim.
All five have been asked to appear before the commission on Sunday.
